Reducing Knife Crime

Two teenage boys have been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 13-year-old boy inside his home.

Jahziah Coke was attacked on Lovett Avenue in Oldbury, West Midlands, around 16:00 BST on Thursday, leading to his tragic death.

West Midlands Police also confirmed that a man in his 40s, arrested on Monday, has been charged with assisting an offender.

All three suspects are currently in police custody and are scheduled to appear before Birmingham Magistrates' Court later.

Jahziah's mother paid tribute to her son, describing him as a "polite, kind, and family-oriented young man."

"He was very loving and always smiling," she added. "His smile would light up the room."

The two teenage boys, whose identities have been withheld due to legal restrictions, were arrested on Sunday.
